MIAMI, November 8, 2010 - Prestige Cruise Holdings (PCH), the parent corporation of Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, has named Gary Gerbino as vice president of corporate communications, effective today.
A 25-year public relations veteran, Gerbino's vast cruise industry experience covers ships carrying as few as 250 to as many as 2,620 guests, and includes three highly successful new-ship launches.
In his new position, he will oversee media relations and marketing communications for both Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises, including spearheading the launch of the company's magnificent new Marina in January 2011 and Riviera in April 2012.

Gerbino joins PCH from the public relations agency Lou Hammond & Associates, where he directed external communications for both Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruise, in addition to boutique luxury resorts in Florida.
Prior PR agency experience includes serving as a vice president at M. Silver Associates, where he managed the Cruise Lines International Association account team and led the firm's award-winning launch of Queen Mary 2 for Cunard Line. Previously, Gerbino held management posts at Seabourn, Orient and Ocean/Pearl/Paquet cruise lines.
