
Norwegian Cruise Line had a special Conference call with travel agents at 1pm Pacific Time January 27, 2009. On this call many new annoucements were made regarding NCL's newest ship called the F3.
Below is a list of all the new annoucements.
F3 will be named Norwegian Epic
One of three reasons NCL named the ship: Anything of great magnitude may be called "epic", as in an "epic feat" or an "epic undertaking". Taken from Grammar.com.

Combine back-to-back itineraries with no port repeated for 14 days! The ship will sail roundtrip Miami year-round.
Bookings will begin mid-March 2009. The first way to book will be through a travel agent.
The Norwegian Epic will have 100% of oceanview staterooms with balconies!
The Norwegian Epic will be launched in the summer of 2010.
