Golden Princess and Dawn Princess to Set Sail for the Sunny Mexican Riviera from Two Home Ports

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (July 11, 2006) - The cultural spice of the Mexican Riviera has long made "south of the border" cruising a Princess favorite. In 2007-08, the line once again draws on more than 40 years of expertise in Mexico travel to take passengers to the scenic waters of Puerto Vallarta, the seaside culture of Mazatlan and the majestic Los Arcos cliffs of Cabo San Lucas.
Two ships, Golden Princess and Dawn Princess, will serve as the traveler's own floating seaside resorts offering a wealth of amenities to complement the relaxing tropical atmosphere. Together the two ships will offer 62 Mexican journeys from which to choose - sailing roundtrip from both Los Angeles and San Diego. Golden Princess will take her 2,600 passengers on the company's classic Mexican Riviera itinerary, while the 1,950-passenger Dawn Princess departs from San Diego on a similar itinerary with differing port times.

"Our latest Mexican Riviera program offers passengers a choice of ship sizes and departure ports plus a wealth of onboard amenities," said Jan Swartz, senior vice president of customer service and sales for Princess. "This classic itinerary has offered the ultimate escape to the best of Mexico since Princess' beginnings."

Golden Princess takes over for Diamond Princess sailing for the sunny Mexican Riviera from her homeport of Los Angeles. This popular seven-day roundtrip itinerary takes in prime ports of call at Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas. Golden Princess will offer 31 departures on Saturdays between September 29, 2007 and April 26, 2008.

Dawn Princess' itinerary sails roundtrip from San Diego on a seven-day vacation that features a later day in Cabo San Lucas, plus Mazatlan and an evening experience in Puerto Vallarta. These Sunday departures run from September 30, 2007 through April 27, 2008. Dawn Princess will also sail on two coastal voyages at the end of the season - a three-day direct journey from San Diego to Vancouver on May 4 and a four-day Alaska sampler on May 7 from Vancouver to Seattle with a call in Ketchikan.

All Mexican Rivera cruises feature Princess' distinctive amenities, including the line's signature Personal Choice Dining, Lotus Spa, youth centers, internet cafes, and an extensive array of entertainment options and venues, all in an intimately designed, personalized environment offering the line's renowned Princess service.

Early booking fares for Princess' Mexican Riviera sailings begin at $549 per person, based on double occupancy, for seven-day sailings. Mexico voyages open for booking on July 24, 2006.
