LOS ANGELES, July 5, 2006 - For the first time Crystal Cruises is adding Tampa to its lineup of Panama Canal 2006 Value Collection Sailings, including a 12-day voyage from Costa Rica to Tampa and a 15-day voyage from Tampa to Los Angeles. As an added bonus, Crystal is offering 2-for-1 savings on these fall 2006 sailings aboard the award-winning Crystal Symphony. While Crystal Cruises features cruises from south Florida several times a year, 2006 marks the first year the luxury line has scheduled itineraries beginning or ending in central Florida.

The 12-day, November 24 through December 6 itinerary from Costa Rica to Tampa features a daytime cruising through the Panama Canal, as well as visits to charming beachside towns of the Netherlands Antilles and the British West Indies, and Mexico's beautiful beaches and Mayan ruins. With fares starting at $2,380 per person, double occupancy, the itinerary offers travelers the opportunity to explore the Caribbean's tranquil and tropical locales, one of the world's most renowned engineering marvels, and archaeological mysteries, as well as experience a diverse collection of shipboard programs and activities aboard this Smithsonian Associates-themed itinerary.

"We are very pleased to add Tampa to our port selection and to offer travelers in central Florida this exceptionally convenient opportunity to experience Crystal's unrivaled reputation for classic service, abundant space, extensive choices and quality," says Bill Smith, Crystal's senior vice president, sales and marketing. "Savvy travelers will appreciate these value rich, 2-for-1 voyages featuring a wide array of stimulating onboard enrichment, complemented by visits to welcoming destinations."
