Tropical Weather Update October 1, 2004

Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises are pleased to report that our ships in the Caribbean are again sailing on calm seas in and warm, sunny weather. Should tropical weather conditions change and begin to affect our ships, we will immediately resume updates to our web site.
Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises are currently unable to bring ships to Coco Cay, Bahamas, our private island. Storm-related repairs are ongoing and should be complete in the coming weeks. In addition, storm recovery efforts in Freeport, Bahamas, and Georgetown, Cayman Islands, prevent us from visiting those ports as well. We look forward to returning to these locations in the very near future. Ships scheduled to make port calls at these locations in the coming weeks will make alternative port calls or spend the day at sea.
We’d like to thank our guests for using our web site to learn about itinerary modifications resulting from recent tropical weather. By doing so, you allowed our staff more time to help others requiring special assistance.
