Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises are closely monitoring the path and progress of Hurricane Katrina to ensure our guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, as well as to ensure our ships steer clear of the storm.
The safety and comfort of our guests are always the foremost concerns of Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises.
Given Katrina's current location and projected path, we are providing the following information regarding two Royal Caribbean International ships.
Royal Caribbean International
Ships sailing from Port Everglades
Empress of the Seas, now on four-night sailing, sailed from the Port of Tampa on a modified itinerary. The ship will spend the day at sea today and return to Port Everglades Monday, August 29.
Ships sailing from the Port of Miami
Majesty of the Seas, now on a shortened, two-night sailing will spend the day today in Nassau, Bahamas, and return to the Port of Miami on Monday, August 29.
CELEBRITY CRUISES
No Celebrity Cruises ships are being adversely affected by tropical weather.
