Tropical Weather Update July 15, 2005 11:00 a.m.

Miami - Royal Caribbean International is closely monitoring the path and progress of Hurricane Emily to ensure our guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, as well as to ensure our ships steer clear of the storm.

The safety and comfort of our guests are always the foremost concerns of Royal Caribbean International.

Given Emily's current location and projected path, we are altering the itineraries of two Royal Caribbean International ships.

Ships sailing from Port Everglades:

UPDATE: Empress of the Seas, which departed Port Everglades on Thursday, July 14, is sailing a modified itinerary, making a port of call in Nassau, Bahamas, on Saturday, spending the day at sea on Sunday and returning to Port Everglades on Monday, as scheduled.

Ships sailing from the Port of Miami:

Explorer of the Seas, which departed the Port of Miami on Sunday, July 10, is sailing a modified itinerary, making a port of call at Nassau, Bahamas, today and Saturday. She will return to the Port of Miami on Sunday, as scheduled

Ships sailing from Port Canaveral:

Mariner of the Seas which departed Port Canaveral on Sunday, July 10, is sailing a modified itinerary, making a port of call at Cozumel, Mexico, today; spending the day at sea Saturday; and returning to Port Canaveral Sunday, as scheduled.

At this time, no other Royal Caribbean International ships are being affected by tropical weather. We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and update this information accordingly.
