OCEANIA CRUISES LAUNCHES 2006 EUROPEAN COLLECTION

Luxury Line Increases Capacity In Europe To Meet Demand

Miami, FL (April 1, 2005) - Oceania Cruises will offer travelers an even broader array of Europe vacation options in 2006, when the line deploys three ships across the historic continent. Oceania Cruises’ Regatta, Insignia and Nautica will sail a diverse and wide-ranging array of classic itineraries throughout Mediterranean and Northern European regions, while also introducing a mélange of intriguing new ports such as Saint-Tropez, Kotor, Port-Vendres, Reykjavik and Delos. To celebrate the launch of the 2006 European Collection, Oceania Cruises is offering free airfare and 2-for-1 cruise fares on all 2006 European voyages.

Nautica joins her sisters, Regatta and Insignia, to present 10- to 16-day voyages that call on Europe’s bustling metropolises and picturesque, seaside villages. “Adding a third ship in Europe speaks to our bullish outlook on the growth of Americans traveling to Europe. Our 2005 European season was such a phenomenal success, we’re in need of additional capacity just to keep pace with the demand for our product,” stated Frank Del Rio, President and CEO of Oceania Cruises. The deployment of Nautica in Europe is in keeping with Oceania Cruises’ philosophy of developing new and different itineraries to meet the wants and needs of its guests. “As the Oceania Cruises fleet expands, so does our ability to offer an incredible variety of award-winning itineraries. With a three-ship fleet in Europe, new and repeat guests alike are assured of finding the perfect cruise to fit their European travel plans,” added Del Rio.

With a scintillating selection of more than 50 voyages visiting 81 ports, Oceania Cruises continues to set the benchmark for destination cruising in Europe with more overnight port stays than any other cruise line in its class. This unique and trend-setting approach to cruising provides travelers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich and abundant history, culture and cuisine of Europe’s most alluring cities. As the only cruise line to offer the one-of-a-kind combination of mid-size luxury, big-ship amenities and a destination focused experience, every aspect of the line’s 2006 European Collection has been meticulously planned with the discriminating traveler in mind. “The sophisticated traveler wants an in-depth, enriching travel experience. We have not only created the ideal blend of itineraries, we have sought out the premier ports interspersed with hidden gems to present our guests with the most rewarding vacation possible,” stated Bob Binder, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
